Alykes’ beach is situated in the Alykes resort which is 18km northwest of Zante’s town. The area owes its name to the many salt-pits (called Alykes in Greek) that can be found behind the village.
The beach embraces a wide gulf, consists of fine sand and is fully organized. A great number of tourist installations and water sports facilities are available and make it an ideal place for complete relaxation.
Taverns, restaurants and snack bars are spread around the beach and offer all kinds of taste enjoyments.
