For the one reaching the island of Zakynthos by the ferry it is the first thing to see on the left of the harbor. Passing Zakynthos’ port pointing north one can find the beach of Kryoneri.
It isn’t one of the best but it is offered for other kinds of activities such as tennis, fun parks for the children and yacht clubs.
The beach is not organized with umbrellas or sunbeds but is full of traditional taverns and restaurants with live traditional music especially in the night.
Even if the beach isn’t the best for swimming, though it is a wonderful place for those in love to enjoy the sunset or a romantic scenery under the moonlight.
