Xygia is a small, pebbles beach 20km north of Zakynthos town. The beach is known for its spring of sulphur that turns the water white while spreading a characteristic smell all around.
Swimming there is of therapeutic value for rheumatism, arthritis and pains in general.
The beach is not organized with sunbeds and umbrellas so it would be wise to take water and other necessities with you.
